Athene Energy Capital

Athene Energy Capital, Athene Capital’s energy finance division, invests in energy and resource saving companies and projects. Investments may take the form of equity, debt or structured vehicles. Athene Energy Capital favours technologies that do not require government support, but instead generate attractive investment returns on their own merits. Athene Growth Capital, Athene Capital’s private equity and growth capital division, invests in high growth businesses with strong cash flows and strong market positions. Athene Portfolio Services

Athene Capital is committed to working with its portfolio of companies to help maximise profitability, growth and return on investment and to create the most beneficial outcome possible for all stakeholders.

In order to best facilitate this, the business has been successfully operating Athene Portfolio Services. This provides hands on executive support throughout the term of investment by our team of Partners.

The Partners each have considerable experience in a variety of sectors and disciplines. Prior to 2016, the resources of Athene Portfolio Services were available only to Athene portfolio companies.  As of February 2016, the Athene Capital Group announced that it was now making  Athene Portfolio Services available to the wider community.

Athene Portfolio Services is a division of the Athene Capital Group focussed on business consulting, rather than financial services, and does not form part of the FCA authorised activities of Athene Capital LLP.

Athene Capital Advisors

Athene Capital Advisors, including Athene Capital LLP, Athene Capital’s FCA authorised investment advisor and arranger, provides investment advice and business consulting services to Athene Investor Partners as well as high growth companies around the world.

Athene Fund Capital

Athene Fund Capital invests in primary and secondary stakes in private equity funds, assisting our Investor Partners to allocate their capital to fund managers who have excellent track records in certain investment strategies, as well as, occasionally, first time funds and emerging managers.   It also works with other divisions of Athene Capital to invest in the co-investment opportunities that the Athene Fund Capital strategies generate.

Athene Fund Capital exists to ensure that our Investor Partners have exposure to best investment teams for their needs, particularly for those investment strategies for which Athene does not have comparative advantage in pursuing such investments in house.
